General
What is ModulX?
A web-based system that builds a shelving plan for a store. You enter the room dimensions, and ModulX lays out the shelving on its own, following the rules. The result: a dimensioned 2D plan, a 3D view, a shelving list, PDF and Excel, and a client link.
Who is it for?
For retail shelving sellers and importers, shelving manufacturers and companies that equip stores.
How much does it cost?
Pricing has not been announced yet. Leave a request about pricing, and we'll contact you.
Request pricingHow does the demo work?
About 10 minutes. Beforehand, we ask for the length and width of your client's store and where the door and checkout are — and we build the plan together with those dimensions, all the way to 3D, PDF and the link. The plan is built with the ready-made shelving catalog in ModulX, not with your shelving.
Using ModulX
Does it need to be installed? Does it work on a phone?
No installation needed: ModulX runs in the browser — on a computer, tablet and smartphone.
Does it need internet access?
Yes, ModulX works online.
Does my client need to sign in?
No. Through the link you send, they view the plan on their phone: 2D, 3D and the list. The link can be revoked, and you can see how many times the client opened it.
Can several managers work together?
Yes. Projects are shared by all of the company's managers: they view and edit them together. If two people make changes at the same time, ModulX asks which version to keep.
Where are projects stored?
On the server; changes are saved automatically. A backup is made every night. A deleted project stays in the trash for 30 days — it can be restored.
Shelving and limitations
What kind of shelving does it work with?
With retail shelving: units along the walls, inner corner units, double-sided units and end caps. Warehouse racks (pallet and shelf racks) are not available right now.
Does it work with my shelving?
Right now ModulX works with one ready-made shelving catalog; your shelving is not in it. If you send us your catalog, we'll tell you whether it fits.
What language is ModulX in?
The interface is in Uzbek (Latin script). There is no Russian-language interface right now.
What doesn't ModulX have right now?
- a separate account for your company — with its own users and projects;
- your own shelving catalog and prices;
- price calculation;
- your company name and logo in the PDF and the link;
- a Russian-language interface;
- warehouse racks;
- signing up and testing it on your own.
